Q: What can keep cats amused for hours?

A. Their very own kitty tv, showing nothing but fluffy young guinea pigs.*

*We warned my niece that minding her guinea pigs for a week might leave them with a few mental scars (or at least cabin fever). I don't think she believed us.

And guinea pigs are nervous to start with. =)

Sigh. I must have the clueless kitties. DestructoMeg's pigs have come to stay with us a couple of times and the cats ignored them completely...

Mind you, perhaps they are just very well trained. Meg's pigs have a tabletop cage and the kids aren't allowed on any tables...

Yeah. That's it... Good kitties...

Great photos. Makes me laugh looking at them sitting on top of the cage willing it to collapse...

...and the amount Padge weighs has me seriously worried about the wire too. I keep checking it, but it seems to be pretty well made. We put the bricks on to stop them working together to tip the lid! They may not have opposable thumbs, but they are a good team when it comes to naughtiness.

We can't get the Fluffy Guinea Pig Channel here at Chez Pav, but we do get (indoor reception only, mind) Fat Pigeons in Back Yard, Sparrows in Bird Bath Under Back Verandah, and Provocative Honey-Eaters Jeering Through Window.
